Kari McKahan
Among the many lives she leads, McKahan enjoys a lively career as the Content and Post Production Coordinator at Globalfashionvillage.com, an Internet company that offers digital production and programming, as well as online marketing solutions for the fashion industry. Originally from Wisconsin, McKahan hails from a long line of fiery Irish farmers and harbors a great passion for writing and reading the Runes. McKahan's fashion radar places cover subject Mary McFadden on our map. Plus she describes Theresa Behrendt working hard at the Sister City Program.

Miriam Kuller
Born in Dusseldorf, Kuller studied at Berlin's Frei University, majoring in political science earning an International Relations Diploma. A year at London's School of Economics, two UN Internships (one in Geneva), travel throughout Europe and Stateside has lent the multi-lingual Kuller an international perspective. Based in Berlin, Kuller takes a break from her work advocating human rights to outlining Berlin city developments for our debut Other Places feature.

Toni Taylor
Choreographer/dancer Taylor formed Pi Dance Theater in NYC in 1990. A decade of seasons in local venues as well as regionally has established her company on the dance scene. Along with her schooling in the Houston method (plus a dance degree from University of Kansas), Taylor has an esthetic dealing with spiritually and a passion sprinkled with wry humor. From her years as a dancer comes a vocabulary that filters into the features she write for IC, including her latest about David Bolger and Cois Ciem.

Nick Kennedy
Kennedy returns to Ireland and University College, Dublin to begin work on his Ph.D in October. Born and raised in Cobh, County Cork, he visited the US in 1997 to complete the first year of his masters at Colby College, ME. He returned to his parents and three sisters to finish his Masters program at University College, Cork. He enjoys writing poetry and occasionally teaching classes. He hopes to return to NYU next year to further research his major, Irish American Gothic Literature. Meanwhile he has joined IC as our roving reporter on all things Irish.

Michele Doolan
Doolan, a third generation New Yorker, is a freelance writer. When not at irish Connections, she can be found working at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has ben an editor at Glamour magazine. She has two children and was married to Arnold Ehrlich, Editor Director of Town and Country Magazine. Her piece on film maker Pat Murphy reflects her lonstanding love affair with arts and culture. She also travels to Ireland frequently and has been an active member of the Irish Georgian Society for many years.
